Hydrostasis CEO Testifies at CA Assembly for Economic Development
July 2025

SAN DIEGO, July 2025 -- Hydrostasis CEO Debbie Chen had the honor of sharing the company’s founder journey before the California Assembly on Economic Development at CSU San Marcos. Invited by Daniel Fitzgerald (The Brink SBDC) and Dr. Silvia Mah, Debbie spoke on the importance of supporting women and immigrant-led startups, emphasizing how local programs like Hera Hub, The Brink SBDC, and Stella Foundation have been critical to Hydrostasis’s growth. Hydrostasis urged legislators to explore more inclusive loan structures and reaffirmed its commitment to shaping equitable access to capital for early-stage founders across California.

Hydrostasis is grateful for the opportunity to advocate for systemic change and hopeful that with continued collaboration, we can build a stronger, more inclusive future for entrepreneurship in California.
