ShowStoppers at CES 2026: Behind the Booth

Exhibiting at ShowStoppers during CES 2026 was equal parts exciting and nerve-wracking. It was our first time exhibiting at a press-only event, and walking in, the nerves were real.

A well-timed pep talk from April E., plus last-minute help from P.S. Ary and Omid Mousaei, made all the difference. Somehow, between the holidays, we pulled together a press kit and got our banner printed—startup miracles still count as miracles.

As always, the real magic came from the people. Huge thanks to Stephen Lehtonen for helping with setup and Pat Murray for (wo)manning the booth alongside me as a steady stream of journalists stopped by to see GECA Watch 2.0. The pace never slowed.

Special appreciation to Mitchell Weinstock and Claire Chang for showing up with guidance, connections, and the kind of energy that carries you through a very, very long day. That support matters more than people realize.

To the journalists we met—thank you for the thoughtful conversations and genuine interest. We’re excited to share what’s next for Hydrostasis and continue the dialogue.

CES is loud, fast, and overwhelming. ShowStoppers reminded us that at the center of it all, progress still happens person to person.
