Innovation doesn't only happen in laboratories or conference rooms: it often begins through conversations and shared experiences.
Hydrostasis recently had the opportunity to attend a San Diego Padres game through Connect, where we connected with entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders across San Diego's innovation ecosystem.
During the event, we demonstrated the Geca Watch 2.0, giving attendees an opportunity to experience our wearable hydration technology firsthand. It was exciting to hear positive feedback and thoughtful conversations about how continuous hydration monitoring could impact health, wellness, athletics, and clinical care.
We're grateful to connect with leaders including James Zanewicz and Tre Braquet, whose enthusiasm for supporting innovators continues to strengthen our regional startup community.
Events like these remind us that building transformative technology isn't just about engineering. It's about building relationships and engaging with people who share a vision for improving lives through innovation.
We were also disappointed that scheduling prevented some members of our team from attending another Connect Padres outing later in the month, but we're glad Jean Flores was able to represent Hydrostasis and continue building those valuable community connections.
